    Really enjoyed our huge rooms.

The room we had included central heating, multi-channel TV, and a sitting area. There was bathtubs too.

The comfortable air-conditioned rooms were a welcome relief from the heat outside. I could easily adjust the temperature to my liking for a restful sleep. The private bathroom with a bath or shower was clean and well-maintained, offering a refreshing experience after a long day of exploring. The tiled floors added a touch of elegance to the room and helped keep it cool. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime, allowing me to relax and unwind. The free private parking onsite was convenient and gave me peace of mind knowing that my car was safely parked.

Personally, I found the lack of a balcony in the triple room a bit disappointing, but it's just my preference. Others may not mind at all.

The owner's late night check-in, spotlessly clean hotel, monogrammed towels and bed linen, comfortable bed, traditional and uniquely decorated.

Attention to detail in furnishings, huge clean room with private bathroom. Delicious breakfast and helpful, attentive staff despite limited English or French. Highly recommended.

The authentic decor and the charming balcony in our room added a special touch to our family vacation. The warm and friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the refreshing pool was a favorite spot for our children. We were also impressed by the delicious breakfast spread and the breathtaking view from our room. The perfect location allowed us to explore the beautiful Monsaraz area and visit the enchanting Monsaraz Museu Aberto, immersing ourselves in the local culture and enjoying the vibrant city-wide festival. It was truly an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

My wife says that having a designated children's play area would be a great addition for families with young kids.

The value for money at Casa Saramago was excellent - we got so much for what we paid! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and we loved the private balcony. The location was perfect, away from the busy tourist areas, and the views from our room and during breakfast were breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though there was a language barrier. They made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. Definitely recommended!

For breakfast choices, it would be great to have a wider variety of pastries.

The bathrooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. The hotel had a great view and easy parking. It was also conveniently located near restaurants in the village, making it a better option than staying in the town itself.

Check-in was a bit complicated and the language barrier made communication difficult. The WiFi didn't work in the rooms, and there were some issues with the water heater.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming property in a wonderful location. The room was beautifully decorated with unique antique furniture, and the stone floors added a touch of elegance. The village itself was picturesque, with stunning views of the surrounding area. After a long day of exploring, the pool was a refreshing oasis. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of fruits, meats, cheese, yogurt. The Wi-Fi was reliable and parking was convenient. Despite a slight odor issue in the bathroom, the overall experience was memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its beauty, comfort, and hospitality.

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-in, making us feel super welcome. The hotel was impeccably clean, with personalized towels and bed linen that added a special touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The traditional decor with quirky details gave the place a unique and inviting atmosphere. The locally sourced breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, flexible, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The manager even took the time to give us a fascinating tour, sharing the history of the remarkable place. Ivone, one of the hosts, was incredibly helpful and considerate, making us feel incredibly well taken care of. The property itself was beautifully maintained inside and out. The room was warm upon arrival and the hot shower was a much-appreciated delight. We can't wait to return and experience the pool when it's open. Highly recommended for an amazing stay!
